We understand that leaving your baby in a day care can be a daunting prospect for parents. At Wee Bunnies we aim to make this a painless experience for both you and your child. We have designed our baby room to create a safe and comforting environment, we work with you so that we can adopt the same routine in the day care that you have at home, causing minimal disruption for your child. Parents are encouraged to bring their own blankets and comforters to the day care so that your child has access to their own familiar belongings.

Sleeping

We work on a sleep on demand policy, we do have set quiet times in the baby room, where we will encourage the children to rest and sleep, however children have access to cots at any time throughout the day. Our sleep room is connected to our baby room, so that no matter the time of day that your baby sleeps they will be in view of our staff. We also make use of baby monitors so we can hear when your baby wakes.

Nutrition

  • Breakfast

  • Morning Snack

  • Hot Lunch

  • Afternoon Snack

For younger babies, parents are asked to provide formula milk which will be made fresh and your baby will be fed in the arms of one of our dedicated and caring staff members.

We work with parents through the various stages of weaning and feeding and will accommodate individual requirements wherever possible.

Daily Care & Activities

Staff will set up age appropriate activities to encourage interaction between the babies. Babies learn through play and copying others, this is achieved through sensory play, such as touch and sound. A variety of learning toys and soft play are available, staff will direct play and record milestones. All care needs will be tended to immediately, such as personal care and nappy changing.

“Evelyn is a lovely woman with many years experience in day care not to mention her own children and grandchildren behind her, a fully qualified Lady to leave your little darlings with.”
